Opera On Punts

with Opera Anywhere

This Sunday we’re delighted to bring you the third edition of Opera on Punts with Opera Anywhere!!!

This unique performance of Opera on Punts is one of the highlights on our summer calendar and definitely an occasion not to be missed!!!

After an opening show at the Boathouse, Opera Anywhere will punt & sing their way downstream to the University parks, arriving around 6:00pm. We’ll stop off for around an hour for picnics and more opera before making our merry way back to the Boathouse.

Everyone welcome to come along and enjoy the spectacle. You can relax with a Pimm’s at the Boathouse for the first part of the performance, take a punt (no booking needed) and follow the opera along the river. Alternately you can book a chauffeur to do all of the work, sit back, relax and enjoy.

We’re also doing picnics for the Parks, these need to be pre ordered by Saturday 12 noon.

The last couple of years have been very busy, so if you aren’t booking a chauffeured punt it’s best to get here early in case there’s a queue.

Chauffeured punt (max 5 people) – £65

Picnic package – £14.50 per person:

Smoked salmon canapés, Charcuterie, CB couscous & chicken kebabs or feta, strawberries & cream

Order of play:
5:00pm – 5:20pm Opera at Cherwell Boathouse
5:20pm – 6:00pm Punt to Oxford Uni Parks
6:00pm – 7:00pm Opera in the Parks
7:00pm – 7:30pm Punt back to Cherwell Boathouse

Punt Opening Hours: 10am – dusk (no bookings)

Restaurant Opening Hours: 12pm – 3pm & 6pm – 8:45pm (booking in advance advised)
