Restaurant Customers

We will be operating at a reduced capacity to enable safe social distancing of tables.

We will only accept booking of up to 6 guests for outside dining in the conservatory (open sides) or outside tables, following the ‘rule of 6’.

For outside dining we will have sources of heating, however suitable clothing is advised.

We have a limited number of screens that can be used upon request.

When arriving at the restaurant please wait to be seated and respect safe distancing from other customers.

Menus can be accessed with a QR Code on each table to reduce paper waste. Alternately we can offer freshly printed menus if you do not have access to a mobile phone or tablet.

All staff will have their temperatures taken as they arrive to work.

We will wear visors or masks during service and maintain a strict cleaning procedure before and after serving tables.

We will have hand cleaning/sanitising stations available for use.

Tables will be thoroughly sprayed down and cleaned after every use.

Payment should be made where possible using contactless via Apple/Android Pay etc on your phone. PDQ machines will be cleaned down before presented at any table.

We kindly ask you to re-book any reservation where possible if you/anyone in your household has been infected, displayed any symptoms or has been in contact with anyone that has/had the virus within the last 14 days. It’s important we follow GOV guidance to stop the spread.

Punt Customers

 

We’ve introduced an option of online booking for our self-hire punts. This system gives customers the option to book a specified time slot, helping us manage visitor numbers, maintain safe social distancing and avoid overcrowding onsite.

If you don’t book before you arrive, you can do so via our website on arrival or hire from the punt office.

You will be asked for debit/credit card details to ‘ hold’ the £100 deposit. Upon your return the balance after hire will be refunded to you.

Maximum 6 persons per punt (current min 1 hours hire time).

Punts can be hired as per Government guidelines at the time (we ask you to respect these).

While restrictions exist – If you do punt as 2 households, we recommend you still try to maintain some distancing where possible. For example, sit next to someone from your household with other household opposite you. If you are 2 households of 3, you can easily use half a boat per household, giving you well over 1 metre distance between you.

All equipment (cushions, pole, paddle and life jackets) are regularly cleaned and disinfected.

We have implemented a designated pedestrian route layout with signage, along with dedicated members of staff to monitor the flow of customers onsite.

Any briefings and hire handover procedures can be conducted from 2 metres away. Please respect the staff only zones.

When returning a punt please remove all equipment and leave in the designated cleaning area.

Be confidently mobile as we have had to adapt how we hold the boat to get you on and off and are unable to offer you a supporting hand or arm.

We kindly ask you not to enter the premises if you/anyone in your household has been infected, displayed any Coronavirus symptoms or has been in contact with anyone that has/had the virus within the last 14 days. It’s important we follow GOV guidance to stop the spread.

You are encouraged to clean or sanitise your hands immediately before & after hire. Hand sanitiser will be available on site for the use of any customers who don’t have their own.

Toilets will be open and cleaned regularly – we would also ask you to follow advice regarding number limitations and self cleaning any contactable surfaces before use.
